In the early morning hours company 19 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries at Broad Street and Rockville Road. Chief 19 (J. Brooks) responded to the scene. While en route, CC911 advised that one vehicle was off the roadway in a ditch, with injuries of unknown extent. Chief 19 arrived on scene and confirmed the report, identifying two patients. Fireman's Carnival

The Miles Township Fire Company will hold its annual Fireman's Parade and Carnival from July 9 to July 11.
The Fireman's Parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, with lineup starting at 6 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building on the east end of town. After the parade, carnival stands will be open and Brush Mountain Band will perform on stage.

Gun Raffle Tickets

Gun Raffle are printed.. Tickets are $20 for three entries, each providing a chance to win one of 30 prizes, including a 2026 Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium with all taxes paid. Each ticket admits one person to the event and includes access to an all-you-can-eat meal on the day of the raffle.

Shortly after returning and cleaning up from the previous incident on 1801, Company 19 and other mutual aid companies were dispatched to a dwelling fire on the 200 block of Smullton Road. Chief 19 responded and was informed of a chimney fire with possible fire in the wall and a smoke condition inside the house. Engine 19 and Tanker 19 followed shortly after Chief 19.

At the beginning of a busy weekend, Company 19 was dispatched to a house fire in Company 18’s area. Tanker 19 responded to the initial alarm. While on the way, Chief 18-2 upgraded the incident to a second alarm, which brought the engine and engine rescue to the scene.

Company 19’s final call of the year was for a small dog kennel fire. The company was dispatched to Shaffertown Road following a report of a fire in a small building. Upon arrival, the Fire Police Captain observed heavy smoke coming from the structure. Tanker 19 and an Engine 19 then arrived on scene, finding the building already heavily involved in fire.
