On October 8th, Miles Township Fire Company along with State Farm Insurance spent the morning at Miles Township Elementary school for fire prevention. On 9/25/2024 around 6:40am Company 19 was alerted for a MVA with unknown injuries. Chief 19-3 (D Auman) arrived on scene with 2 vehicle in middle of intersection blocking 2 travel lanes. Engine Rescue 19 responded, crew place oil dry to catch engine oil and antifreeze that was leaking and running towards a storm drain. Recently a crew of 5 from Company 19 did stand by Company 5 Alpha's in State College while their company did fire safety at Beaver Stadium. While there Company 5 had one automatic fire alarm.
