Last night 1/18/2025 company 19 was dispatch to a Dwelling Fire on Narrows Rd in Logan Twp. Engine Rescue 19 and Tanker 19 were requested. Both units responded. EMA 1 arrived with smoke showing from the roof. Engine 13, Engine/Tanker 13 arrived and deployed 1 hand line to rear here fire was located. On October 8th, Miles Township Fire Company along with State Farm Insurance spent the morning at Miles Township Elementary school for fire prevention. State Farm was pleased to give each family house hold a free smoke detector to place in there home. On 9/25/2024 around 6:40am Company 19 was alerted for a MVA with unknown injuries. Chief 19-3 (D Auman) arrived on scene with 2 vehicle in middle of intersection blocking 2 travel lanes. Engine Rescue 19 responded, crew place oil dry to catch engine oil and antifreeze that was leaking and running towards a storm drain. Recently a crew of 5 from Company 19 did stand by Company 5 Alpha's in State College while their company did fire safety at Beaver Stadium. While there Company 5 had one automatic fire alarm.
