In the early morning hours company 19 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries at Broad Street and Rockville Road. Chief 19 (J. Brooks) responded to the scene. While en route, CC911 advised that one vehicle was off the roadway in a ditch, with injuries of unknown extent.

The Miles Township Fire Company will hold its annual Fireman's Parade and Carnival from July 9 to July 11.

The Fireman's Parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, with lineup starting at 6 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building on the east end of town. After the parade, carnival stands will be open and Brush Mountain Band will perform on stage.
