By Assistant Chief Dustin Auman
July 1, 2025

At 6:20am on Monday June 30th, Company 19 along with 18,7,4, Clinton County 13 and PVEMS 28 were dispatched for a well involved barn fire endangering other buildings. Chief 19-3 (D Auman) had a large size header in the distance and requested 2nd alarm. Chief 19 (E Miller) was also responding. EN19 and TA19 responded momentarily after the Chiefs. EN19 arrived on scene to find one barn well involved. TA19 utilized its drop tank to the rear of EN19. EN18-1 laid 5 inch to the scene and ER19 laid the rest. Temporary tanker shuttle on the driveway was used till it became a permanent operation. With 2nd alarm being dispatched and replacement of tankers that didn't get out, there was a total of 14 tankers on the scene, and well over 50 firefighters. EN18-2 was at the fill site which was close by on Brown Rd. MTFC would like to thank Howard Fire Company, Morris Twp Fire (Clearfield County), and Wayne Township Fire Company (Clinton County), and Miles Township Road Crew.
