At the beginning of a busy weekend, Company 19 was dispatched to a house fire in Company 18’s area. Tanker 19 responded to the initial alarm. While on the way, Chief 18-2 upgraded the incident to a second alarm, which brought the engine and engine rescue to the scene.

Tanker 19 transported two loads of water. Engine 19 split its crew, with some members assisting at the scene and others setting up the fill site for tankers. Engine Rescue provided manpower at the incident and assisted with refilling air bottles. Fire Police were on scene assisting with road closure of Coburn road near the fire scene. Crews remained on scene for approximately three hours. Special thanks to Howard and Walker Township for standing by during the incident.
