Company 19’s final call of the year was for a small dog kennel fire. The company was dispatched to Shaffertown Road following a report of a fire in a small building. Upon arrival, the Fire Police Captain observed heavy smoke coming from the structure. Tanker 19 and an Engine 19 then arrived on scene, finding the building already heavily involved in fire. Company 18 was also dispatched and staged nearby until the fire was brought under control. Their prompt response is acknowledged and appreciated.
